HIRE NOWThe government's latest stimulus package called the National People's Well-Being and Economic Recovery Package (PEMULIH) highlights crucial assistance to businesses and people.
Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin just announced an RM150 billion in Covid-19 relief spending today, with RM10 billion in aid to be given towards low- and middle-income households affected by the pandemic.
Assistance to B40 and M40 households and bachelors.

B40 households will receive RM500 in August and RM300 in December.

Assistance to the unemployed
The government will provide RM500 assistance to Malaysians who have lost their jobs based on EPF and SOCSO data.
Electricity bill discount extended

The government is extending 10% electricity bill discounts for economic sectors affected by the pandemic. The extension will last for another three months, from October to December.

Domestic users will receive an electricity bill discount from 5% to 40% based on the electricity usage up to a maximum of 900kwh monthly. The government will provide this discount for three months.
6 months moratorium for the B40, M40, and T20 and micro-entrepreneurs.
Assistance for SMEs and individuals

The government will provide additional assistance to micro SMEs with RM500 in September and another RM500 in November.

SME Digitalisation Grant received an extra RM100. This grant enables SMEs and micro SMEs to receive matching grants a maximum of RM5,000 to purchase or subscribe to digital systems.

A moratorium of six months for all individual borrowers and micro-entrepreneurs. All applications will be automatically approved, and documentations are not needed.

Over 5,300 registered travel agencies will receive one-off assistance of RM3,000 to help them revive their businesses when Malaysia moves to the Third Phase of PPN.

Employees' Provident Fund (EPF)
The government will allow withdrawal of RM1,000 per month for five months under EPF's i-Citra.
Public-private Partnership Immunisation Programme (PIKAS)
The government will allocate RM150 million for PIKAS.
