Access Unlimited & Free Online Training Courses at e-LATiH

If you want to learn new skills but unable to because of the MCO, do not fret.

The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) had launched a new e-learning hub. Dubbed e-LATiH, it is part of HRDF's effort to help Malaysians during this challenging period of fighting COVID-19 to enable everyone to prepare for the future by obtaining hundreds of skill development and educational content. 

A joint effort between HRDF and Go1, an international e-learning aggregator, HRDF stated that the e-LATiH would be available to all Malaysians beginning 6 February 2021 until 5 February 2022.

All Malaysians are encouraged to access these online training courses at https://elatih.hrdf.com.my/. These courses are free of charge, and job seekers are also encouraged to join.

Based on a joint statement issued by HRDF and the Ministry of Human Resources today, the e-LATiH will serve Malaysians with free access to over 200 industry-driven training courses tailored to the needs of the Malaysian industry.

As of now, the courses are only available in English, as they are provided by an international non-profit aggregator. In the coming weeks, HRDF is expected to add more content in several languages, including Bahasa Melayu. 

The Minister of Human Resources, Datuk Seri M Saravanan stated that the government made the initiative to encourage Malaysians to embrace learning and knowledge acquisition as part of their daily routine.

He said that Malaysians have to continue to strive in an environment that has become more competitive, showing that only those who are prepared for the future will set a foundation for future success. 

Meanwhile, the chief executive of HRDF, Datuk Shahul Hameed stated that even though HRDF was first made to service its levy-paying stakeholders, the e-LATiH platform is its way of giving back to Malaysians.

"As the custodian of training and development in Malaysia we want to add value and add to the current skill sets of every Malaysian", he said.

He said employees and individuals would have the chance to choose their preferred and relevant courses, ranging from skill development to personal growth online training courses.
